By creating an account or using AI Diary ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
AI Diary is a personal journalling and productivity application that uses artificial intelligence to help you capture thoughts, track tasks, view calendar events, and gain insights from your writing. The Service is provided "as is" and may evolve over time.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
You may register with an email and password or via a supported social provider (Google, GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You retain ownership of all diary entries, tasks, and other content you create ("User Content"). By submitting User Content you grant AI Diary a limited licence to process, store, and transmit it solely to operate the Service — including passing relevant excerpts to third-party AI providers to generate nudges and insights on your behalf.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems; (c) upload malicious code or files; (d) reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service.
The Service uses large language models to generate insights and nudges. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). You are solely responsible for decisions made based on AI output.
The Service is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers in the future. If we do, we will notify you in advance and any paid features will be governed by additional terms presented at the time of purchase.
All software, design, branding, and non-user content of AI Diary is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any such rights to you.
You may delete your account at any time via the Profile page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination your User Content will be deleted within 30 days.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI DIARY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 7 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
